What topics do you like to discuss?
There are so many topics I love to talk about that I could write ✍️ for this prompt endlessly! I’ll narrow this down to my three favorites. For instance I love to talk about the places that I’ve visited and am very keen on hearing others describe their travels 🧭 to all sorts of places. The more off-the-beaten -path the better when it comes to this topic, and especially when it comes to places I’ve never heard of before. This is one of the reasons I totally groove on travel blogs. They are entertaining, informative and I can comment on the wonderful photos and stories about these unique places.
I know the old cliche about two things to never 👎 talk about: “politics and religion”. This is another favorite 🤩 topic that I usually link together as one because they so often go hand-in-hand. Contentious they often are, but there is no complete escape from them in this life unless you live alone in a cave completely removed from modern life. To make it clear — I cannot stand people who have no control where these topics are concerned. Screaming 😱, yelling, and general abusiveness are intolerable — and especially so after excessive alcohol consumption. In those prickly circumstances people usually don’t know what they’re talking about anyways and make blubbering 😭 idiots of themselves.
The internet 🛜 has only made this much worse and incites more and more bad behavior. This is something I’ve worked diligently to avoid now, as I’ve allowed myself to get caught up in this nastiness in the past. This was chiefly on the Quora site which incites negativity more than any good it does (in my estimation). However, unlike many people I would not hide behind a fake name, memes, or otherwise! Generally, though, when it comes to being online, funny 😆 animal 🦔 videos are where it’s at for me!
Anything having a whiff of danger to it…mainly tales of the supernatural are almost an obsession for me. I love ❤️ to hear stories of paranormal experiences and incidents whether they can be validated or not, whether other people like it or not. I never tire of talking about haunted houses, seances , demonic possession, divination Ouija boards, sorcery, and so forth. Opportunities to share opinions with others about these subjects in books 📚, tv 📺, and movies 🎥 are not to be missed!
